Thesis Delivers 50% Reduction in Lighting Electrical Load at Archbishop Mitty High School
Thesis, The Spend Improvement Service, with the help of its partners, Coast2Coast Lighting and Office Depot, completed a full campus relamp project this summer to cut lighting related energy costs in half. A unique retrofit LED lamp was used permitting the use of existing fixtures with or without a ballast.
"I am very pleased with the success of this project," said Jorge Helmer, CFO at Mitty. "It's a very nice level of illumination and color without any glare," he said. These lamps work with existing dimmers.
Uniformity in color and proper lighting lumens at the student desktop level combined with consistent color temperatures throughout the school make a dramatic difference from the old system.
